Transport service for and by residents of the municipality of Vught
ANWB AutoMaatje is a transport service for residents of Vught, Cromvoirt and Helvoirt.
Volunteer drivers drive residents with reduced mobility, for example due to reduced mobility, poor eyesight, aging or because driving is becoming more difficult. The reason to use AutoMaatje can be different for everyone. It is important that everyone can continue to participate in social and community life and can continue to go out independently.
AutoMaatje is an extension of the Vught Senior Bus service.
When do ANWB AutoMaatje drivers drive?
The drivers drive during the day, in the evenings and also on weekends. For example, a driver will take you to a specialist in the hospital, the general practitioner, the dentist or physiotherapist for an appointment. With AutoMaatje you can also visit a former neighbour, a friend or take another trip.
AutoMaatje drives trips in Vught, Cromvoirt and Helvoirt, but also drives to locations outside the municipality of Vught. The driver receives an expense allowance of 30 cents per kilometer (due to the high petrol costs temporarily 35 cents), calculated from the driver's house. You pay the expense allowance and any parking costs in cash to the driver at the end of the ride.
Who are the drivers of ANWB AutoMaatje?
The drivers are volunteers and residents of Vught, Cromvoirt and Helvoirt. They drive their own car for AutoMaatje. The drivers accompany you from door to door, but sometimes also further on request, for example walking to a waiting room in the hospital or the entrance of the location to be visited. The drivers are not carers or aid workers.

how can i use vending machine?
You can register as a participant at AutoMaatje by telephone. The telephone number can be found at the bottom of this page. There are no costs involved and you do not have to be or become a member of the ANWB.
The application form will be completed with you during a telephone conversation and, if desired, we will visit you to complete the form.
Requesting a ride is possible by telephone and e-mail. It is important to request a ride at least two (working) days in advance, but preferably earlier if possible, so that we have sufficient time to find a driver for you.
If we have found a driver for you, we will give you the name of the driver by telephone (and if desired by e-mail) with the probable number of kilometers of the journey. We can never say exactly the number of kilometers due to unforeseen circumstances on the roads.
If it concerns a short appointment, the driver will wait for you. Is it a longer appointment? Then the driver will come back later, at a pre-arranged time, to pick you up.
