embrace experts by experience

Embrace is a group that deals with poverty. They are the point of contact for people with financial concerns and can best be seen as a 'walking social map'. They know a lot about the arrangements and support organizations available within our municipality and know better than anyone what it is like to have money worries. Each from their own specific circumstances and background. The group consists of experts by experience and others who feel connected to people who are struggling financially. The group has existed since 2017 and is a household name in tackling poverty in the municipality of Vught. Experienced experts know what it's like when you have to get by with little money. They know better than anyone what it takes if you sometimes don't know how to make ends meet every month. And they know that it is not easy to talk about these problems. What they also know in particular is that talking about it is the first step towards a solution. Sometimes you need a push. The experts by experience want to be this push in the back.

The Omarmen group devises activities together, among other things. These activities are sometimes with their own group. They also organize activities together with others. Together with the GGD, Welzijn Vught and ABZ, they organize DO (does meet) meetings about health and a small fair. En Omarmen participates in "We Omarmen", where people meet, help and strengthen each other.
