Flexible volunteering!
The future is flexible!
Volunteers are willing to put in an extra 11 days a year on average, if they would find more suitable volunteer work. They indicate that being able to organize your own time flexibly and having a wide range helps to provide more voluntary commitment this year. That sounds fantastic! But how do you prepare your organization for new faces?
This year, organizations can participate in the 'Flexible volunteer work' trajectory. This process consists of three parts that can be followed separately, depending on what your organization needs.
The 'Flexible volunteer work' trajectory offers a number of live meetings. If these cannot take place due to the measures surrounding the coronavirus, they will be offered online.
To learn
During the online training 'What is flexible volunteering?' we will take you on a journey through the changes in volunteer country. The choice is huge for people who want to mean something. How do you ensure that those volunteers choose your organization? You see that many people like to do something for others and society, but do not want to commit themselves to an organization or make a structural commitment. Make your organization more flexible to take advantage of these volunteers.
In the period between May 20 and June 8, the training is offered 6 times. The training is free and accessible to everyone from the participating municipalities in East Brabant*. During the training you will receive a workbook, in which you immediately work out your job(s) in a clear manner. See when you can participate and register .
inspire
We organize inspiration sessions so that you can exchange ideas with other organizations, help each other on their way and thus inspire. A guest speaker will share his success story. It is an interactive meeting where there is room to brainstorm in groups. You leave with a backpack full of new ideas and enough energy to get started.
Each region has its own inspiration session. If you are unable to join in your region, it is also possible to participate on another date. Participation is free, but registration is required: click here to register .
To do
To concretely organize your flex job(s), you can participate in our work labs. In groups you will make a plan for your task(s). Together you discuss the do's and don'ts and come up with solutions. You go home with a clear work plan, ready for implementation!
Each volunteer center has its own work labs. If you are unable to join your volunteer center, it is also possible to participate on another date. It's free, but you need to register. Do you want to participate? Then sign up via this link.
*The 'Flexible volunteer work' trajectory is organized by the volunteer centers of East Brabant: Galant Vrijwilligersnetwerk, Onis Welzijn, ContourdeTwern Boxtel, LEVgroep, VughtvoorElkaar, Cordaad Welzijn, Eindhoven Doet and Vrijwilligerspunt Sociom.
