What kind of volunteer work suits you?

You want to do something good. Super! Then you can see it well here, because we have collected everything for you in a handy overview. By filtering you quickly discover what suits you. But: how do you actually know what that is?

How do you choose something that suits you?

The following questions can help you discover what kind of volunteering or do-good things are right for you.

  • Would you like to help someone personally or would you rather do something for an organization or association?

For example, you can stand behind the bar at a sports club or support an event, but if you prefer to be there for a neighbor, that is also possible. Then you do a job here and an errand there. You can also help people one-on-one through an organization. For example, billiards with Piet or on the side-by-side tandem with Fenna.

  • Do you want to develop yourself, meet people, have fun or something else?

Doing something good also gives you a lot. Think carefully about what is important to you and what you want to get out of it. If you want to meet new people, you choose an activity where you work with a group of people. For example, giving the elderly a nice afternoon together. Or organize a culture festival. Do you want to enrich your CV or develop your skills? Then you might opt for a strategic management position or marketing communication project.

  • What do you like to do? What are you good at?

We believe that everyone can do something that makes someone else, or the world, happy. From a listening ear to a strong shopping arm to organizational talent or social media photography. Your talent is often something you also enjoy doing. So put that in and develop it by doing something good!

  • Do you want to expand your living environment?

Everyone needs something sometimes. You will find a huge variety of people on our platform. Help out in the community center, residential care center, culture café or at a foundation that stands up for a specific group and expand your world.

  • How much time do you want to spend volunteering?

How much time do you have? An hour, afternoon, once a month or just every week? Use the calendar filter to discover when you can contribute, or search for 'regularly' if you want to do something structurally.

Good luck!
