At the recovery academy De Stenen Hut at Zorgpark Voorburg in Vught, everyone is welcome to have a chat, participate in an activity, read the newspaper or just have a cup of coffee. In a friendly atmosphere, people come to buy something, sit down for a while, have a chat or play a game of billiards. It is also the 'cafeteria' for a number of daytime activities and courses of ABZ. NB The recovery academy De Stenen Hut is open during the week and Saturdays. Work is done according to a schedule, swapping is always possible. Parts of the day can be discussed in consultation. Sometimes someone is sick or goes on holiday. I'm looking for a volunteer aged 25+ who wants to do fun things with me on Wednesday afternoons. It would be nice if it could be every Wednesday afternoon, but once every two or three weeks is also nice. What you need to know about me is that I have a mild intellectual disability, I am quickly overwhelmed and I am a direct person. My environment sometimes says that I am straight to the point. But to be honest, my spontaneity and my humor is more present. I am also up for a challenge and would like to push my limits. Conviviality is a spearhead here. What I'm looking for in a volunteer, or I prefer to call it a buddy, is that you are interested in horses and have no allergies to animals, otherwise it would be nice if you took the lead.
