vughtvoorelkaar shows golden frames in the petrus
A special exhibition can be seen in DePetrus from Tuesday 3 to Sunday 15 May. The Golden Lists with Vught volunteers will be exhibited there. These were shown on a monthly basis in Het Klaverblad from March to December last year. Now the entire series, an initiative of Vught voor Elkaar, is coming back, so that the diversity of volunteer work in the municipality of Vught is once again given a powerful face.
From the Food Bank to the gymnastics department of Prince Hendrik, from the Toy Bank to the Youth Nature Watch, from the Village Support in Cromvoirt to the Waste Watchers, from Dagje Thuis in Helvoirt to table tennis club JCV and from DePetrus to scouting group Prince Willem van Oranje. The background of the 10 volunteers who were recorded in a Golden List was incredibly diverse. Journalist Ton de Kort and photographer Kees van Dun took care of capturing all these deserving volunteers in word and image: young and old, man and woman.
The exhibition can be seen on the photo racks of the Vughts Museum. These are placed in the center aisle of DePetrus and show both a portrait and an action photo of each volunteer. Vught voor Elkaar hopes that the attention for volunteer work within Vught will also encourage new volunteers to get started. The exhibition can be admired during DePetrus's opening hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
