Leave everything behind and flee to another country. It is expected that millions of people from Ukraine have already been forced to do this. Many of them will arrive in the Netherlands. Let's offer them protection, security and a warm welcome by being there for them. For them, but also for all other refugees who need our help. The Help for Ukraine Foundation collects food, water and other humanitarian goods to help refugees and people in Ukraine. We buy food in larger quantities from financial donations.
From the sorting center in Vught, trucks with relief goods leave directly for the besieged cities. Ukrainian refugees are welcome in the ”Shop for Nop” in Vught, where activities are also organized.
We can only continue to do this with your help! Every bit helps. See what you can do to support victims of this terrible war.

Do you feel connected to people who were forced to leave their homeland? Do you want to help? Do you think it is important that the new residents get to know their way around? Sign up as a potential volunteer Social Guidance!
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers:
* You find it a challenge to support people who do not yet speak the Dutch language to build a future in Vught.
* You can explain information about authorities and legislation. You easily make contacts with, for example, the housing association, municipality, etc.
* You have understanding and patience. You know how to make yourself clear using gestures and google translate.
* You think it's important to make people self-reliant, so that they learn to ask for help and continue to develop independently in the Netherlands.
* You are enterprising, solution-oriented and can start things well.
* You are available at least 1 half day per week.

Your help is needed now and in the long term to help all refugees in our country. In addition to emergency aid, you can help them feel welcome and find their way in the country and culture.
